Description | fMLP receptor Antibody, anti-human, APC, REAfinity™. Clone REA169 recognizes N-formyl-L-methionyl-L-leucyl-phenylalanine receptor (fMLP receptor), which is a seven transmembrane G-protein coupled receptor. fMLP receptor binds formylated peptides such as fMLP, which originate from degraded bacterial or mitochondrial proteins and mediate inflammatory reactions, activation of neutrophils and trafficking of leukocytes to the site of inflammation. Expression of fMLP receptor is mainly found on leukocytes, neutrophils and monocytes. | Additional Information: Clone REA169 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |
