Description | PE anti-human CD138 (Syndecan-1). CD138, also known as Syndecan-1, is a type I integral membrane heparin sulfate proteoglycan. As a member of the syndecan protein family, Syndecan-1 mediates multiple cellular processes, including migration, proliferation, and cell-matrix adhesion through interactions with collagen, fibronectin, and other soluble molecules (such as FGF-basic). It is expressed on normal and malignant plasma cells, pre-B cells, mesenchymal cells, epithelial cells, and endothelial cells. |
