Description | Rabbit anti-NF-H recombinant monoclonal antibody [BLR189J]. Neurofilaments are type IV intermediate filament heteropolymers composed of light (L), medium (M), and heavy (H) chains. Neurofilaments are a component of the axon cytoskeleton and functionally maintain neuronal caliber. They may also play a role in intracellular transport to axons and dendrites. NF-H is commonly used as a biomarker of neuronal damage [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 4744)]. |
