Description | CD360 (IL-21R) Antibody, anti-human, PE-Vio® 770, REAfinity™. Clone REA233 recognizes CD360, which is also known as interleukin 21 (IL-21) receptor. CD360 forms a heterodimer with the common γ subunit, which is shared by other receptors such as IL-2 and IL-15 receptor and serves as the receptor for IL-21. CD360 is a single-pass type I membrane protein and belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. Expression of CD360 is found on variety of cells including B cells, NK cells subsets, T cells, NKT cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, and non-hematopoietic cells such as keratinocytes and fibroblasts. CD360 is composed of the cytokine-binding domain, a transmembrane domain and a large intracellular domain that contains conserved structural motifs, including the commonly described box 1 and box 2 elements, which are important for signal transduction. IL-21 mediated signaling plays vital role in mediating immune response and is involved in enhancement of adaptive T cell-immunity, antibody production, activation of natural killer cell subtypes, and opposing the suppressive effects mediated by regulatory T cells. | Additional information: Clone REA233 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |
