Description | IFN-γ Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL788 is an antibody fragment derived from the full IFN-γ antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL788 recognizes the human IFN-γ antigen, a pleiotropic cytokine of the type II class of interferons. Interferon gamma (IFN-γ) is produced by lymphocytes, primarily activated T lymphocytes, that are involved in inflammatory immune responses. It functions as a potent activator of macrophages, increases the antiviral and antitumor effects of the type I interferons and has antiproliferative effects on transformed cells. IFN-γ is predominantly released by memory and effector CD4+ and CD8+ T cells as well as by NK cells upon activation. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). |
