Description | CD50 (ICAM-3) Antibody, anti-human, APC, REAfinity™. Clone REA905 recognizes the human CD50 antigen, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as intercellular adhesion molecule 3 (ICAM-3). As a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, CD50 is closely related to ICAM-1 and consists of five immunoglobulin domains. It is expressed by leukocytes and is a ligand for CD11a (leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein). CD50 is also associated with the amino-terminal domain of ERM proteins and moesin and plays an essential role in primary immune responses. | Additional information: Clone REA905 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
