Description | Sox17 Antibody, anti-human, APC, REAfinity™. Clone REA701 recognizes the human Sox17 antigen, a member of the SRY-related HMG-box family of transcription factors, which are implicated in embryogenesis. Sox17 is a transcription regulator that binds target promoter DNA and bends the DNA. Sox17 is found in adult heart, lung, spleen, testis, ovary, placenta, fetal lung, and kidney. In normal gastrointestinal tract, it is preferentially expressed in esophagus, stomach, and small intestine than in colon and rectum. | Additional information: Clone REA701 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
