Description | CD53 Antibody, anti-rat, APC, REAfinity™. Clone REA512 recognizes the rat CD53 antigen, also known as Ox-44, a 43 kDa glycoprotein and a member of the tetraspanin family, which has four transmembrane domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth, and motility. CD53 is expressed on almost all hematopoietic cells such as B cells, monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, und T cells, but not on erythrocytes and platelets. | Additional information: Clone REA512 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
