Description | CD51/CD61 Antibody, anti-human, FITC. The monoclonal antibody 23C6 recognizes the human heterodimeric complex CD51/CD61, also known as integrin αv/β3. The dimers are expressed on melanoma cells, endothelial cells, on osteoclasts, and in a very low density on platelets. The CD51/CD61 complex mediates adhesion to fibronectin, fibrinogen, vitronectin, thrombospondin, osteopontin, and collagen. |
