Description | CD93 Antibody, anti-mouse, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA298 recognizes the mouse CD93 antigen, C-type lectin like type I transmembrane protein also known as also known as AA4.1 antigen or C1QR1. CD93 is widely expressed on hematopoietic cells such as immature dendritic cells, monocytes and macrophages, and immature B lymphocytes but also on hematopoietic progenitors and stem cells in adult bone marrow, embryonic yolk sac, and fetal liver. It mediates the enhancement of phagocytosis in monocytes and macrophages upon interaction with soluble defense collagens and plays a role in intercellular adhesion. CD93 is a marker for early multipotent hematopoietic precursor cells and plays a role in cell-cell interactions during hematopoietic and vascular development. It is also involved in other immunological processes such as enhancement of bacterial phagocytosis, clearance of apoptotic cells, or neutralisation of virus. | Additional information: Clone REA298 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |
