Description | CD253 Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA1113 recognizes the human CD253 cytokine, a type II transmembrane protein also known as TNF-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TRAIL) or tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 10 (TNFSF10), which induces the process of cell death. CD253 is predominantly found in spleen, lung, and prostate. It binds to the death receptors DR4 (TRAIL-RI) and DR5 (TRAIL-RII). CD253 can be expressed on transformed and virus infected cells. It can also be expressed on activated lymphocytes. | Additional information: Clone REA1113 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
