Description | CD182 (CXCR2) Antibody, anti-human, PE-Vio® 615, REAfinity™. Clone REA208 recognizes CD182 (CXCR2), which belongs to the class of chemokine receptors specific for CXC chemokines. Chemokine receptors are G-coupled protein receptors (GPCR) with seven-transmembrane domains and consist of an α-subunit and a βγ-complex. In humans, interleukin 8 (IL-8) is one of most potent chemokine which binds to CXCR2. Expression of CD182 is found on several cell types including leukocytes, endothelial, and epithelial cells. CD182 plays a critical role in neutrophil homeostatis, angiogenesis, and in pathological conditions such as acute lung injury, lung diseases, and asthma. | Additional information: Clone REA208 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |
