Description | This TTBK2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 217-245 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human TTBK2. This gene encodes a serine-threonine kinase thatputatively phosphorylates tau and tubulin proteins. Mutations inthis gene cause spinocerebellar ataxia type 11 (SCA11); aneurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive ataxia andatrophy of the cerebellum and brainstem. |
