Description | This antibody recognises receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase C (PTPRC), a 180kD transmembrane protein, which is also known as CD45. CD45 is present on all leukocytes. CD45R and CD45RO are two of multiple PTPRC isoforms generated by alternative splicing. CD45R is found on B lymphocyte and T lymphocyte subsets. CD45RO is present on 50% of T cells, most granulocytes and monocytes and most mature T cell tumours. |
Immunogen | Immunogen: Cultured T cells from an IL-2-dependent T-cell line (CA1) prepared from human peripheral blood activated with influenza virus. |
