| Description | Specificity: Human HLA-DR. HLA-DR, also known as the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecule, is a heterodimeric cell surface glycoprotein composed of a 36 kDa beta chain and a 27 kDa beta chain. It is expressed on B cells, activated T cells, monocytes, macrophages, dentritic cells and other antigen expressing cells (APC). HLA-DR plays an important role in the presentation of peptides to CD4+ T lymphocytes. |
