| Description | This GDI2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 135-164 amino acids from the Central region of human GDI2. GDP dissociation inhibitors are proteins that regulate theGDP-GTP exchange reaction of members of the rab family, smallGTP-binding proteins of the ras superfamily, that are involved invesicular trafficking of molecules between cellular organelles.GDIs slow the rate of dissociation of GDP from rab proteins andrelease GDP from membrane-bound rabs. GDI2 is ubiquitouslyexpressed. The GDI2 gene contains many repetitive elementsindicating that it may be prone to inversion/deletionrearrangements.
