Description | This AMBP antibody is generated from mice immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 77-104 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human AMBP. The AMBP antibody can recognize the precursor AMBP protein and the alpha-1-microglobulin protein since the immunogen sequence is between 77-104 amino acids of human AMBP (P02760). The AMBP antibody does not recognize bikunin alone (206-352aa) nor trypstatin alone (284-344aa). This gene encodes a complex glycoprotein secreted inplasma. The precursor is proteolytically processed into distinctfunctioning proteins: alpha-1-microglobulin, which belongs to thesuperfamily of lipocalin transport proteins and may play a role inthe regulation of inflammatory processes, and bik |
