Description | Specificity: ATP6V1A antibody detects endogenous levels of ATP6V1A. Function: Catalytic subunit of the peripheral V1 complex of vacuolar ATPase. V-ATPase vacuolar ATPase is responsible for acidifying a variety of intracellular compartments in eukaryotic cells. In aerobic conditions, involved in intracellular iron homeostasis, thus triggering the activity of Fe2+ prolyl hydroxylase (PHD) enzymes, and leading to HIF1A hydroxylation and subsequent proteasomal degradation (PubMed:28296633).Subunit Structure: V-ATPase is a heteromultimeric enzyme composed of a peripheral catalytic V1 complex (main components: subunits A, B, C, D, E, and F) attached to an integral membrane V0 proton pore complex (main component: the proteolipid protein).S |
Immunogen | Immunogen: A synthesized peptide derived from human ATP6V1A. Tissue Specificity: High expression in the skin. Predicted Cross Reactivity: Pig, Bovine, Horse, Sheep, Dog, Chicken, Xenopus Similarity: Pig (100%), Bovine (100%), Horse (100%), Sheep (100%), Dog (100%), Chicken (100%), Xenopus (100%) |
