Description | Anti-PICK1 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with PICK1 from Human, Mouse, and Rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with PICK1 from other sources has not been determined. Scaffolds research. PRKCA-binding protein is a protein that is encoded by the Pick1 gene. The protein encoded by this gene contains a PSD domain, which interacts with protein kinase C, alpha. The protein functions as an adaptor that binds to and organizes subcellular localization of a variety of membrane proteins. It has been shown to interact with multiple glutamate receptor subtypes, monoamine plasma membrane transporters, and non-voltage gated sodium channels. This protein has also been found to act as an anchoring protein that specifically targets PRKCA to mitochondria in a ligand-specific manner. |
Immunogen | PICK1 Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations raised against a fusion protein rat PICK1. |
