| Description | Anti-Acetyl Cholinesterase was prepared from monospecific antiserum by a delipidation and defibrination. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-goat serum, purified and partially purified Acetyl Cholinesterase [Bovine Erythrocytes]. Cross reactivity against Acetyl Cholinesterase from other sources is unknown. Acetylcholinesterase terminates signal transduction at the neuromuscular junction by rapid hydrolysis of the acetylcholine released into the synaptic cleft. |
