| Description | Ham's F-12 was developed by R.G. Ham and is a nutrient mixture formulated for serum-free culture of single-cell Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells. Compared to Ham's F-10, it includes an increased amount of zinc, which increases its plating efficiency and reproducibility of CHO cells. Ham's F-12 has also been used as a serum-supplemented growth medium of other mammalian cells. Nucleus Biologics' strategy for media supply and manufacturing are unique to the industry.
