The antigens are suitable for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies against TBE. The Tick-borne encephalitis Virus is a member of the genus of Flaviviruses and related with other Flaviviruses such as Dengue, Zika or the Hepatitis C Virus. The virus is transmitted via a tick bite and can cause a severe encephalitis in humans. |
